About the Artist
Randy Engle - Abstract Painter
Home: Fairfax, Northern CA (32 years)
Born: 1953
Randy Engle is completely self-taught (except for a brief class in photo-realism in 1985)
His working-age life starts working in a plant nursery in high school, then college dropout, then onto being a pastry chef, landscape designer, then software developer and software company owner. Retiring in 2019 to take on painting, not as a business, but as a passion.
Not as a business, not as a computer/digital artist, but using a brush on canvas.
Abandonment of technology! I can barely use my iPhone these days!
